The MM International Equities Portfolio fell -3.84% during the week while cash remains at 4%. The main headwind on performance primarily came from the technology space, The Trade Desk (TTD) fell -12.23% while Amazon (AMZN US) was off -11.40%, although in the same sector Tencent (700 HK) rallied +5.76% while Barrick Gold (GOLD US) put on +6.47%.
We continue to consider a few tweaks across this portfolio in the coming days / weeks including the below:
Buy: We are considering increasing our tech exposure for the next few months through Google Alphabet (GOOGL US) but note this is unlikely to be a long term increase with Amazon (AMZN US) top of our sell list into a bounce.
Sell: BHP (LN) ahead of the stock delisting in London while we are also looking to trim US bank Wells Fargo (WFC US) into strength as it’s reached our target.
