Market Matters In The Community
The 2020 APEX Outback Postie Ride has been and gone and I’d like to personally thank the many wonderful Market Matters Subscribers who contributed to this great cause. We managed to raise more than $25,000 in a little over a week that will go directly to help families battling cancer. That goes on top of the ~$30,000 last year taking the combined total ~$55,000 over the past two years. I’ll be back next year hoping to knock those numbers out of the park. This year, the ride raised a total of over $110,000
The Apex Outback Postie Bike Ride is a 4 day ride, off road through the Flinders Ranges in South Australia on Honda CT110 ‘s (postie bikes). A bunch of guys getting together to raise money for charity and have a cracking time along the way. The mateship is great, the ability to get out of the grind of the city is something that I really value plus the riding is pretty extreme, albeit on very under powered bikes.
This year we travelled from Port Augusta to Angorichina for night one, from there we headed to the mining town of Leigh Creek then up to Roxby Downs which sits next to the Olympic Dam mining operation, before heading back to Port Augusta.
Many thanks to the wonderful Market Matters community for your support of this great cause
