Hi. I’d like your opinion on CBA & ANZ. I am holding a good position in each and want your opinion on continuing to hold or sell some or whatever. Also I am holding positions in BVS, CGF, EOS, RMS & RSG all of which are pre my time with MM. Can you please give me your opinion on these, as I am considering buying a little more of a couple of them, in order to recover a little from the lows. I really like the way you guys operate. Thanks again, MickO’
“Hi, I’m really enjoying being part of market matters and since joining I’ve added OZL, A2M, ALL, VUK. I notice you covered IGO since falling in recent times is this something I could buy to add to my growth portfolio” – Kind regards Adam A.
“Hi Guys, nice calls over the past months however a bit slow on changes. It looks like the long “holds” are over with rotation the new normal. I would like to know your thoughts on the “go to” gold sector which now seems a thing of the past with Tech stocks looking like to “go to and get out” sector for more short term growth. My feel is we have missed a lot of opportunity by holding rather than a more “in and out” or if you like short term position(s). Materials have hit highs, as have the banks so what next? Good work team but time for change I feel.” – Wayne S.
“Hi James and Team, A question for MM Monday Report if I may. We are retired income-focused investors. We have a holding in AGL, and are considering cutting the position given the commentary regarding AGL’s problems, while we have a manageable loss. We are thinking of a switch to Ausnet as we want to maintain diversity in our holdings. What is MM’s view on Ausnet? Does MM feel the Utilities sector worth staying in or should we move those funds out to another sector entirely at this stage? Many thanks and keep up the good work.” – Karl B.
“Hi, I have watched IVE Group (IGL) price slip away. Should I sell, or will they have a good report??” – Graeme C.
“Hi, Just wondering if you can advise about the biotech company SPL. The share price has gone gangbusters the last few days with some positive news. I’m lucky to have bought some shares early last year but I’m wondering what you thought would be a good time to take some profits.” – Best Regards Kenneth C.
“Hi James, Select Harvests “SHV” is a Company from Western Victoria which is an Almond Orchard Producer & Marketer. The region produces the second largest amount of almonds in the world, second only to California, USA, where I understand some of their orchards are under pressure in being replaced by vineyards. They have some China sales exposure but not extreme I believe. They have undertaken a planting program which will see these immature trees reach maturity in the next 2-3 years which will increase output. They just secured further water rights through an acquisition financed by a placement at $5.20. I would appreciate your thoughts on the Company now and going forward please.” – Many thanks, Mark B.
“Hi James and Crew. There is a lot of talk about transferring from growth to value stocks. I recall you agree with this. Can you define value stocks and could you recommend 5 to watch.” – Many Thanks, Peter C.
“James & Team Thanks for all the insights over the past couple of years. It has been invaluable for our SMSF. Can you assist with an insight/answer to 2 questions please: 1. The income portfolio discussion states “The portfolio remains well ahead of its benchmark for the current financial year, up 16.01% vs the RBA + 4% target of 2.56%.” This implies the RBA is a negative rate. What am I missing? 2 . XARO price dropped at about the same time that it delivered a similar sized dividend. It is now trading within a tight range around the low $26.00s. It remains listed as a Buy in the portfolio and of low risk. Any insights into its outlook.” – Thanks in anticipation Peter S.
“Hi James, Interested in purchasing small parcels of Bitcoin, Ethereum and some other popular cryptocurrencies and would like your view on eToro as the trading platform. Is this a safe and viable option, what are the pros and cons, or are there better trading platforms for Australian investors?” – Regards, Charles S.
