MQG hold their AGM on the 24th of this month, with the 2026 half-year results following on November 7th. However, the current read through from their US peers is very encouraging with both GS and MS trading desks posting stellar numbers. To put things in perspective, about 35% of Macquarie Group’s revenue in FY25 came from its Commodities & Global Markets segment, which is essentially its trading business. The division generated approximately $6.0 billion out of a total revenue of $17.2 billion, but if they walk in the footsteps of MS and GS, it could be significantly higher next time they report.
- We are looking for MQG to follow its US peers higher, targeting new highs into Christmas. MM holds MQG in our Active Growth Portfolio.
