Hello James and crew – Happy New Year.
Following on from the excellent report this morning on Charter Hall Long WALE REIT (CLW) could I please get your thoughts on COF. Regards Geoff
I have a real interest in ETPMAG (Silver); ETPMPD (Palladium); ETPMPM (Precious metals basket) and ETPMPT (Platinum) as 3 month or so investments, especially if IKO (Korea as a 50% weighting in my portfolio) falls over. I have read a long article by Sprott Asset Management – who you may have come across, as like you they are very sophisticated analysts, and the future of silver looks very positive. What do you think? I’m keen to be able to sleep at night, particularly as their rise has been so rapid, I get apprehensive about a bigger pull back than you mention in your notes on ETPMAG. Looking for some guidance here as I’m well aware I’m a late entrant into this groups of precious metals.
XRO has been in downtrend since mid June. Do you still remain bullish despite the trend having not been our friend for 6 months?
Hi, I have only a few stocks you don’t cover. Two that have done well for me are CWP and SSG. I am considering exiting, and would be interested in your view. Regards, Geoff
Happy holidays, James & team,
Thank you for your expert advice throughout the year. It is very beneficial.
Hi Gents, I’ll quickly take the opportunity to say thanks for all your hard work this year putting the daily reports together and for your continued dedication to helping MM members make good investment decisions. Love the transparency. Thank you. I just want to clarify the “ACTIVE” mark in the portfolios. I’m keen to up my allocation to gold but i’m trying to work out a good time to increase my exposure. I’ve noticed your comments recently about buying gold stocks has been that you wouldn’t chase them from here, but BGL and NEM and GOLD are all marked as ‘ACTIVE’ in the portfolios, doesn’t that mean you still think they are BUYS at current levels? When considering about increasing gold exposure, just trying to understand your commentary about not chasing names from here but also that those names are still marked ‘active’. Thanks again. Josh
I’ve held a parcel of ASX-listed uranium stocks since early 2019, adding to the holdings here and there along the way. Right now they’re up 41%, so not a great return yet. Yes, they’re volatile, I accept that. But they still haven’t attracted a great deal of interest from investors and things like Boss Energy, whose CEO was until recently the golden-haired boy, don’t help. Even amplified news about the sector hasn’t set it on fire. So, it’s been seven years and I know many other investors have walked away. How long is too long to wait? It seems that promises continue to be just over the horizon.
