After reading your summary of the Blackstone results this morning I was wondering if the sector in general has been over sold and a ETF like GPEQ is looking OK after a draw down. Or should we be more selective on individual private equity stocks.

We would definitely advocate being selective, just like with any index or sector.
In terms of the VanEck Global Listed Private Equity ETF (ASX:GPEQ) we still wouldn’t be surprised to see it make a new low in 2026, but the risk/reward would look very appealing into such a decline – one to watch.
