Archives: Questions And Answers

Thanks for your ongoing coverage and commentary in these interesting times it is nice to know what’s happening under the hood.
My question is on Greatland Resources your opinion on the website is a little old now and I understand they have upped their MRE recently – this company seems solid it goes up well when it should and doesn’t collapse on rumour it seems to behave like a more mature company than it actually is – what do you see as the risks, I see they use contract labour but what is holding you back from this being a favoured exposure to gold and copper

I’m interested to hear if you are considering Aurizon for the Income portfolio and if not why not. I note that it has just paid a worthwhile dividend.

Portfolio amendment today has adding to Pershing Square (PSHD).The heading of the graph says PSHZF US then says adding PSHD US and the graph itself says PSHD LN. Can you tell me what is the code and is it in US or London. Kind regards Kerry

I noted you added to both of these positions but before I follow your move I’m wondering if these companies are exposed heavily to private credit.

I would like your opinion on the gold price. My experience, as a small child during and post WWII (pre supermarket days), money had no value. Prices were doubling and tripling daily. I recall seeing people in the food market, exchanging food for a small piece of a gold necklace. My recollection is, that traditionally during uncertain times, the price of gold has rocketed. It is not happenings now. Why?
Best regards,
John
