Can you please give your views on LTR compared to PLS and IGO Thanks

Hi Jim,

These are three prominent ESG names who’ve struggled over recent times, with any purchase being a contrarian investment, against the trend:

IGO Ltd (IG) $7.165 – not our preferred ESG play as the recent weakness in nickel prices looks like a structural shift as opposed to a normal cyclical change in supply & demand dynamics.
Liontown Resources (LTR) $1.0775 – An interesting “situation lithium play” with potential corporate action after Albemarle’s abandoned bid. We like as a higher risk punt.
Pilbara Minerals (PLS) $3.655 – Our preferred lithium play with PLS residing in our Active Growth portfolio. This week’s result from PLS was on the soft side but it’s all about what comes next with the result showing no major concerns for MM, the lithium price just needs to bounce!

The Match Out: ASX ekes out small gain on bank buying, Hardies hit on major acquisition.

The market opened down ~20pts before U.S futures kicked in mid-morning spurring a small rally to ~7935 before sitting in a 10-point trading range for the remainder of the day. A negative reaction to the blockbuster acquisition by James Hardie (JHX) highlighted a continued aversion to the U.S early on, though our market was quickly buoyed by a flight to financials, with banks enjoying a good start to the week.
