Archives: Questions And Answers

Hi Market Matters
Can I have your current view on SXE – Southern Cross and NXT-Next DC. I know your preference is GMG – Goodman for Data Center exposure. Have they run up to far already?
At what price would the risk reward be to accumulate these 2 stocks?
regards
Debra

NSR announced a JV with GIC this week. Apparently transferring some of their growth development planning projects into 25/75 JV with GIC. I understand that this is a way to speed up their growth plans, maximise on their development skill/set & increase market share. The share market seems to approve to idea, so does MM have any thoughts on JV?

Good morning James and the MM Team
First up, thank you for all your insightful commentary every day, I enjoy reading it. I know you answered a question regarding copper ETF WIRE as a diversified copper play back in April when it was trading around $14.47 and suggested a ‘pull-back’ was overdue.
It has since pulled back (a little) and I wonder if you could offer any further comment on the attractiveness of the risk/reward at current levels. I currently hold Sandfire, but am considering a switch to ASX:WIRE.
Thank you as always for your comment.

Wondering why ZIP shares trade in high volumes. With more sellers than buyers but the shares keep going up. Shouldn’t it be the other way around shares should go down.🤔

I placed a question on Deterra this week but since then DRR has made 2 relevant announcements.
Offer by DRR to purchase all Trident Royalties plc units on UK AIM Market for cash at 22.5% premium to market price.
DRR announced an adjustment to its dividend policy within its existing capital management strategy balancing shareholder returns and
capital growth. This will reduce minimum div payout from 100% to 50% to fund future investments.
I see that DRR share price has reduced from 4.73 at 3 June to 4.46 13 June.

Hi Guys, Just wanted to say that I love your in depth analysis of what is happening, in particular on the ASX.
I hold PPT shares and am trying to get my head around what the state of play is here? According to the May ASX announcement KKR are to offer $ 2.175 B in cash for the part of the business not involved in investments. As there are 113M+shares, I calculate this to just over $ 19 per share. The market however as of Tuesday, is now valuing the whole company incl. investment business at less than $ 22 per share? Therefore implying a value of $ 3 per share for the remainder of the business. Yet PPT state that the remaining entity will be a stand alone ASX listed company with a debt free balance sheet. Any thoughts? Thanks
