Logistics company WTC surged +12.9% on Monday, but it’s still down 60% from its 2025 high. We have held onto WTC, believing AI is more likely to act as a force multiplier for the company than an existential threat, underpinned by its scale, proprietary data and deeply embedded position in global logistics. That said, maintaining leadership will require ongoing investment to reinforce its competitive moat as AI capabilities proliferate across the sector – its report next week will be scrutinised very carefully, including how well it is integrating E2open into the company.
- We believe WTC is good value below $50, trading at a 50% discount to its historical valuation. MM owns WTC in its Active Growth Portfolio.
