There is no confirmed date for the SpaceX IPO but it’s expected to be mid this year, perhaps on Elon Musk’s birthday, on June 28th.
Getting access to a SpaceX IPO from Australia is possible, but realistically very difficult. IPO shares are allocated to institutions and large US clients of the relevant investment banks. The likely lead banks for the IPO are Goldman, Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan, to have any chance of getting stock in the IPO in our opinion you will need to a large client of one of these firms, i.e. paying lots of brokerage &/or fees.
