Hi Deb,
Overall, we have a preference for National Storage (NSR) on a risk adjusted basis. Its a lower risk proposition than Centuria (CNI) with a more ‘vanilla’ sort of business structured as a Real-Estate Investment Trust (REIT). Centuria (CNI) on the other hand, is a property fund manager, that does in turm have large investments in specific REITs, namely COF & CIP.
As we’ve written recently, we like the Real Estate Sector and both of the these stocks will likely be held across one or more of our portfolios into 2024.
We currently own NSR in our Active Growth Portfolio and CNI in both our Income & Emerging Companies Portfolios.
