To the MM Team,
I would appreciate your updated view on RPL.
I note that you still hold the stock in your Emerging Companies portfolio. It is well below consensus valuation, has a strong yield and is on an undemanding forward PE or around 12-14. But I do note that your software shows a far higher figure.
On the negative side, the stock has run hard in the last two months.
I don’t see RPL as a long term hold more a short term opportunity. If you did not hold RPL what would be a fair buy-in and exit price?
Thanks,
Charles

Hi guys, would love your updated views on GQG and PNI. I think you’ve mentioned in the past reconsidering the position in PNI and is the GQG thesis still intact? Thanks, Josh

Over 2025 Qantas share price has grown and could that be attributed to the direction of the new CEO? It’s price growth has seemed to correlate with the changing of the guard.

Hi team, if we take the position that the market will go up over the long term – which is why an A200 ETF might be suitable for a set and forget investor – why not add gearing to that strategy? Am I missing something? I understand that in the short term if the market has negative years it could compound your losses but, on the basis that you are investing long term, shouldn’t a geared ETF outperform. I guess specifically in this situation the G200 ETF outperforming the A200 ETF. Would love your view on this and using geared for thelong term. Thanks, Josh

A group called Broker Consensus has a price forecast on RIO of 384.19 % or, $741.00. I didn’t see a price forecast on MM’s report (it is possible that I missed it).

With interest rates most likely to increase, what is the outlook for IAF share price and returns? Is there a better safe option in these economic times?
Thanks,

Hi Market Matters Team
Can I have your current view on Alcoa- it peaked at $98.32 on 13/1/26 – Where do you see the demand for aluminum and the share price of AAI. I’ve been a holder waiting for a recovery and have now reached break even. Would you continue to hold or take the capital and invest elsewhere?
Again a similar scenario with IGO – Peaked $9.50 27/1/26 – do you see more upside? Would you sell? You wrote yesterday – “IGO- fell -6.1% despite higher lithium production and improved pricing in the quarter, the market remains wary of the “multi-asset lithium” model and cost pressures across the chain.”
regards
Debbie
