Hi James, I’m a recent subscriber and have been enjoying the reports. I’m curious on your thoughts about ASX. I sold at a 60% profit some time ago so there are no complaints from me but it’s risen about another 20% since then. It never seems to appear on any Buy or “good value” lists so I’m wondering what you think might be keeping it at such elevated levels. Cheers, Carl

G’Day again, You seem very confident that the SIQ buy out will go through. Why haven’t the arbitrage people stepped in yet??? I would have thought a dollar a share margin would have had them salivating. WHC is making me nervous but I will stick to your opinion. I have a fair percentage in them. Thanks, Waz

Can you could include the yield % next to each stock, and for the portfolio overall, within the table for the income portfolio? Michael
Hi James, Just read this morning’s MM report (14 Oct) and in particular the bit on NXL where you reference GEM, NWH, NXL and WGX being dropped out of the ASX200. I don’t hold NXL but I do hold NWH. Does your NXL comment “(NXL) is a perfect example of a stock being in the too hard basket as it drops out of major indices” also then relate to NWH? Or are the mining and infrastructure tailwinds enough to justify a “hold” ? – Regards Jan P
