Hi James and Shawn
Not a question , just an observation after reading the MM weekend report. “Yellen meeting with both Federal Reserve and FDIC officials to assess the collapse and impact on the overall banking system”. It appears the PPT (Plunge Protection Team) is concerned enough to meet. I guess this flags caution for the road ahead?
Have a good weekend. JanP

Dear James / Shawn, Do you have an opinion as to when VUK may become a “buy” ? In the past, you have mentioned that VUK seems to be very cheap. John.

Thanks for your efforts ongoing! You timed your exit from SGP very well, but it appears to have rapidly stabilised and if rates are now close to pausing, where would you consider an appropriate entry point. NSR has held up well, but ABP (diversified, but large exposure to Kings Storage) has struggled. Do you see value (or relative value) in one over the other.

FYI, the reason why I like Metcash is because they supply grocieries to all the IGA stores in Australia. I can only speak for my experiences here in WA but every smaller rural town in the wheatbelt of WA has an IGA supermarket and no other. If residents want to buy at Coles or Wollies, they must travel 50 to 100+ km which obviously entails a cost in fuel and vehicle wear and tear, so IGA have got a virtual monopoloy in those towns and are price setters. To my mind, a very important reason why they will continue to do well over the next few years.
