Hi Graeme,
We’re only taking Morningstar’s raw data feeds and some quantitative insight.
- We’re not using Morningstar research per se’, with all opinions and actions on stocks, and our daily notes being underpinned by our own MM research.
To form those views we use research from multiple parties, and apply our own methodology/insight over the top – we’re original, we’re not a platform publishing other’s views, but we do need the raw data going into the site to populate the company pages.
The one key benefit for now is greater depth within our ETF screens, and we encourage members interested in that space to browse that area. The other benefits will come shortly, with an expanded market map functionality at the heart of the next phase, hopefully bringing with it better navigation and a central hub to launch further analysis from.
Overall, there will be very little overlap.
