Question asked

Change of TLS to TLSDA

I am interested in an explanation of what is happening with TLS, now TLSDA. I have seen no explanation from Telstra, and have just become aware of it by looking at my portfolio.

Answer

Hi Richard,

It’s trading on a deferred settlement basis as part of a restructure. It will trade under the code TLSDA until the 1st November, then will be known as Telstra Group (TLS) instead of Telstra Corporation (TLS). The new Telstra Group will sit above 4 subsidiaries, called ServeCo, InfraCo Fixed, Amplitel and Telstra International. There are no changes really for shareholders here
