A quick update to our view towards BHP’s bid for OZ Minerals (OZL) – earlier this month BHP bid $25 for OZL with the stocks trading above $26 for most of the time post the approach illustrating the market’s optimism that another higher bid will be forthcoming.
- We remain long and bullish OZL expecting BHP to raise its bid closer to $30 before Christmas.
MM still expect BHP Group (BHP) to ultimately buy OZL ~$30
