A very strong move overnight in Solar Energy company First Solar (FSLR US) following our update on the stock in Wednesdays Portfolio Positioning report here. The move was an aggressive one with shares rallying over 18%, taking the two day advance to 26%. The move was not limited to FSLR, with other solar stocks doing well; Array Technologies, Nextracker and Enphase Energy also made significant gains while the Invesco Solar ETF added 9% on the day.
- Energy demand will increase inline with the adoption of AI, and big tech is only interested in renewables such as solar.
