ETF exposure for the long term
“Hi MM, What would be 3 or 4 asx ETF’s (global facing?) that you like for a 5 to 10 year investment for the kids? And would you wait for a correction for these etfs?” - Cheers, Jill.

Morning Jill,
A reminder that this is general advice only and won’t take into consideration any personal circumstances.
It’s all about timeframes and as we have alluded to earlier we are anticipating elevated volatility this year so I certainly would not be going all in at today’s prices – remember the best returns are often generated when buying at uncomfortable periods. As we said earlier consider keeping some ammunition for pullbacks. A mix of ETF’s makes sense especially during this evolving macro environment.
Four ETF’s I would consider are for Australia are the A200 or VAS mentioned earlier, for Europe the Vanguard VGK ETF, for the Emerging Markets the IEM ETF and for US tech the QQQ Trust – we hold 3 of these in our MM Global Macro Portfolio .
