Hi There were a couple of substantial shareholder notices lodged for IGL this week - both were for individuals with the same surname and representing some of the same entities. Together they now own about 15% of the IGL shares. Could they be lining up for a possible takeover - are there any whispers on the street - or is it more likely that they just see value in IGL and are building up their holdings? Cheers, Carl

We always like questions like this because sometimes they contain real nuggets of golden information. As you say Aran Young and Tony Young have announced a combined purchase of 14.2% in IVE Group (IGL), also three directors purchased stock in September, never a bad thing. We haven’t heard any “rumours on the street” but the stock did make fresh 5-week highs earlier this week which is encouraging.
