Views on various stocks BOE/NXG, DGT/GMG, NEU, 360

Dear James, Shawn and team,

Thanks for your great work - how you keep across so many stocks is incredible. Uranium. NXG vs BOE? And can you touch on why you still prefer PDN over BOE? In the data centre space, DGT vs GMG? Best bio-tech play? And thoughts on NEU? At what price point might you like the risk/reward? 360. Have we missed the boat. At what price point would this look attractive? Thanks! Young

Answer

Hi Young,

A large number of stocks here, we generally ask subscribers to limit the number to two from a  time management perspective. Please, excuse the subsequent brevity:

  • We prefer PDN on a relative valuation basis to BOE, based on the size of it’s likely future production. NXG is another volatile beast in the sector, but they are some way off producing big volumes making it more of an asset play for the future, and therefore more volatile. We would rank these in terms of risk to potential reward in the following sequence: BOE lower risk/lower reward, PDN then NXG
  • DGT vs GMG? DGT has been a buyer of datacentres, whereas GMG is developing them. GMG has a more diversfied mix accross various property sectors, with DC’s being a new area of focus for them. This proven track record in other areas and access to greater levels of capital, along with their large bank of land/sites we think dilutes the data centre risk. However we do like DGT if it dips back towards the $3 area.
  • NEU: not really our forte with too many disappointing endings, NEU is a great example, having halved over the last year. We feel uncomfortable in this space.
  • Have we missed the boat on 360? Its hard to chase 360 around $30 but the risk/reward would be appealing if it dips back towards $28.
