Hi, I have been reviewing my portfolio and revisiting Uranium. I have some exposure via Paladin and BHP and am wondering about adding another pure play or the ETF Global X Uranium, which you have given some coverage to. I’d appreciate your thoughts.

We are still bullish towards the uranium sector medium term and are positioned accordingly. However, in the short-term while we still expect the URA ETF to make new highs ~10% higher the risk/reward has deteriorated significantly over the last 6-months. We have no plans to increase our exposure into strength into 2024, we are more buyers of weakness, markets generally don’t move in a straight line!
In terms of the URA, this is the go-to Uranium ETF globally, and hard to argue with. For an ASX listed Uranium focused ETF, Betashares have recently listed URNM – fact sheet here.
