Hi Ian,
There’s a saying in the investment community which goes something like “look after your losers and the winners will look after themselves” hence we are always very happy to focus on positions that have been / are heading against us:
TPG Telecom (TPG) – we still believe the telco can grow over the coming years and at this stage we regard the recent 7% pullback as a better buying opportunity.
ResMed (RMD) – the sleep disorder company has seen its shares fall ~10% over the last few weeks after its 2nd quarter update disappointed investors – a 12% lift in revenue to $US894.9mn was below expectations. which was sitting over $US925mn. MM does still like the company but we aren’t interested in increasing our exposure at this point in time.
Goodman Group (GMG) – GMG has fallen over 20% since November, largely in-line with most growth stocks. We continue to believe this is a world class bushiness and we would average if our holding was smaller.
