Hi James, In recent notes you've called out that Tech stocks will maintain this outperformance over at least the coming weeks. Are there any signs that readers should be watching to see if this overperformance is shorter/longer than anticipated? Off the back of the first question, do you feel that any tech overperformance in the coming weeks will be an opportunity to offload weaker performing tech related stocks such as Z1P and WSP? Thanks
Hi Anthony,
We will be monitoring the tech bounce extremely carefully over the coming weeks especially as we now carry reasonable exposure to the sector – watch for updates. We think the “easy money” is probably already behind us but another 5-10% minimum upside is still our preferred scenario.
As to the 2nd part of your question we will indeed be looking to sell off the weaker / lower quality positions in our portfolio but obviously everything is evaluated on a case by case basis with any growth stock that rallies past our perceived valuation becomes a candidate for potential sale.
