Hi Paul,
There are a number ways to play a bearish view, the simplest of these is simply short selling the stock which a broker can assist with (we have this facility available through Shaw). Or, via exchange traded put options which can provide downside exposure but the holder generally loses if nothing happen through the concept of time decay. Best to get advice about this as its a more complex approach, while the ASX website also gives some more detailed information.
