With interest rates almost certain to begin cutting in the USA by September, what is your position on REIT and index funds that offer broad exposure to this such as VAP.

Hi Lewis,
We like REIT’s space moving into Christmas and beyond, as our longstanding macro view that interest rates will turn lower through 2024/5 comes to fruition. Individual stocks like Mirvac (MGR) and GPT Group (GPT) which MM recently purchased will yield more but the REIT’s Sector should preform well as a whole. We are looking for the VAP ETF to break its post COVID high into Christmas, with an initial target 10-15% higher.
