Hi Sidney,
In terms of placing orders before the respective matches I (Shawn here) would simply place orders at whatever price I was comfortable buying or selling at, in terms of an overall investment a few cents around the match should only be noise. However, in some illiquid stocks some finesse may be required for large orders depending on volume – each stocks trades a bit differently. As a general rule, computer driver execution will execute around 5-10% on open, ~50% during the day, and these days, the close is where a lot of the volume gets done, something like 30-40%.
In terms of DroneShield (DRO) the stocks now trading in my technical “accumulation” area but taking into account how volatile the stock has been in 2025 I wouldn’t be surprised to see a dip towards $2.50.
