Archives: Questions And Answers
Good morning,
With the ACCC due to make an announcement on the 13th of June re the proposed merger between Sigma-Chemist Warehouse, what is MM’s current view on SIG?
What do you realistically think will SIG SP will do if the merger is waved through?
Is MM considering a “pre-emptive strike” on SIG prior to what will presumably become one of Australia’s biggest and best retail businesses?
As a long term subscriber, I still look forward to my daily read. Thanks for all your hard work.
Jeff
I have been invested and stuck in A2Milk since 2020 with the average price around $12.59 and Mesoblast with avg price around $2.10.
Are these 2 stocks worth holding to recover losses or booking a loss and moving to something else will take me into green faster.
G’Day James and All at MM,
In the light of your comments today about SIG, I was wondering what you think of FPR going forward. They have had a disastrous history following some bad strategic decisions a few years back. Since then, they have restructured to core business under new management. They are now profitable, but they have no franking credits so have bought back shares instead of paying dividends. Looks like a potential take-over target to me. SIG perhaps! Cheers, Ron
Looking for your thoughts on SXE with its picks and shovel play to the data centre thematic.
Hi Team,
Please may I have your assessment, on the Pengana Global Credit Trust (PCX) that is about to be launched versus PCI which has been in your spotlight. I understand that PCI is possibly more domestically focused than PCX and possibly not a fair comparison.
Hi MM,
Hi,
You have CTD in your growth portfolio. How do you rate CTD versus Flight Centre (FLT) as growth / income stocks?
Thanks Peter
Hi, MFG have had a disastrously bad run from mid 2021 due to a number of reasons including large fund outflows. MM currently hold MFG in the active growth and active income portfolios.
To the MM team,
If you still held RMD what are your thoughts now with the stock trading around $33? Also I hold a few SSM & it’s a company that does not generate a lot of comments. Can I have your thoughts please. Thank you
