Gold Stocks

Hi guys, there was a view early last year that gold stocks were lagging the gold price and thus offered some value, throughout this year gold stocks have followed the gold price price higher and rallied – they’ve done some nice catch up. NST and EVN up around 50% (depending on when you start). Whats your current view and future outlook on Gold and these stocks? Have they finished their catch up? Just a question – What is the outlook for the Gold Price ? I know MM is bullish on EVN. What about the other names – especially NEM, RRL, NST? At what point should we trim or take profit on these stocks?

Bowen Coking Coal capital raise

Hi James and team. I have received the most recent prospectus for the BCB capital raise and there are a lot of moving parts. My gut instinct is that this would be just good money after bad, but I note that Shaw are part of the underwriting team. Also noting that MM recently sold out of BCB, what are your views on their future post this raise? Cheers

Thoughts on SUN

Can I have your current view on Suncorp.
Can you provide dates when the sale of Suncorp bank to ANZ will be finalized and when Shareholders can expect to receive some return of capital from the sale. Would you know the amount expected to be paid and would part of this return be a fully franked dividend?
