Hi guys, can you give an update view on the Stoxx 50 please? I’m watching a lot of indexes get belted this week. Previously you had mentioned that you were more bullish for the Stoxx 50 (or I may been imagining that) and were targeting 5500 level. The long standing support has now been breached at 4800. 4750 is the 200EMA then 4550 looks like the next serious support level, also inline with a 50% Fib. From a more fundamental point of view, I thought the Olympics and French elections would’ve given a solid foundation.
Regards,
Simon

Hi guys, thanks again for all the work which goes into running Market Matters.
Can you highlight a leveraged ETF which will be worth looking at. I’m just about ready to go all in on resources, anticipating that we are close to a low and a weak season approaching. Alternatively, can you convince me that there is a better option for the next six months to hopefully maximise profit.
Regards,
Simon

Hi MM,
What dividends do you expect DRR to pay – both in August and also into 2025? Do you see value in the stock at current levels?
Thanks,
Peter

Both of these commodities have come off their recent highs. Do you believe this a stepping down move or more of a breather before another surge upwards? Is the Mkt waiting for the interest rate cuts or is the geo-political status in USA, Gaza, Ukraine causing greater impact?

Hi Shawn, I would like to understand why yesterday when gold went down $50 per ounce EVN and NST both held firm. I would appreciate your insights. Regards Jeff
