Archives: Questions And Answers
Hi Team, thanks for your great work,
My question today relates to a small company called Qoria which is focused in the areas of cyber security and parental online controls.
They appear to be expanding very quickly into this important worldwide area via direct application through parents but also via the education system in Australia, USA & UK.
Your thoughts on whether you believe this to be a growth area worth following would be appreciated.
Thanks Rob
over some time i have bought sigma shares hoping [or gambling] of becoming a shareholder in the combined entity I note chanticleers comments on related party transactions but feel they will be overcome. I understand proposal depends on both companies shareholder approval plus final approval by the federal court presumably chemist warehouse financial details will be available at sigma meeting with documents to be issued in December
Looking to diversify into health care and wanted your opinion on SHL now the post Covid bad news has worked its way through the system.
Really appreciate your insights

Hello James and crew,
With the ultimate phasing of hybrid securities can MM suggest an alternative investment for income purposes. Are exchange traded Australian Government Bonds (or Indexed Bonds) that alternative? Or do we simply keep buying/selling hybrids over the next couple of years?
Thanks as always Geoff.
Hi James and Team
Hi guys
You recently bought nxt and obviously you like this company and i agree that demand is increasing rapidly with aI. But i do have a few concerns with this company as in its recent report it pointed out that more companies are targetting data centres and with it competition for staff. Obviously this will push wages higher and therefore costs. Also i note these data centres are extremely power hungry and i cant see power getting cheaper anytime soon ,in fact it has continued to be more expensive.
I like the data centre story but these few negatives make me cautious about investing in nxt.
Your thoughts please
Thanks
Tony
Hi MM,
You mentioned in a recent webinar that you don’t use options to increase income and lower entry prices on some of your more poorly performing income/growth stocks (e.g. MIN).
I’m just curious as to whether there is a specific reason why you don’t?
Thanks Peter
