Archives: Questions And Answers
Hi,
I very much look forward to the Saturday post, as it rounds out the insights for the week.
I was wondering about News Corp. You haven’t mentioned it for a longtime, as far as I can tell.
I used to own it, but haven’t for a while. What are your thoughts on it?
Hi Market Matters Team
Can I have your current view on Suncorp.
Can you provide dates when the sale of Suncorp bank to ANZ will be finalized and when Shareholders can expect to receive some return of capital from the sale. Would you know the amount expected to be paid and would part of this return be a fully franked dividend?
regards
Debra
A buy/hold/sell rationale on the following please . . .
Hi guys, apologies; could you give another update on how you see the indexes moving into Christmas. Everything to me just seems very stretched at the moment and I’ve been reluctant to hold any decent position as surely, valuations need to reset at some point. As much as we are in the goldie locks scenario right now, we’ve still got to look at earnings across the board to match.
I got a few nice runs from the August, September drops and have been hoping for another pull back before Christmas; maybe the US election will provide some good entries.
Your views are always appreciated.
ASX, Dow 30, Nasdaq, Stoxx 50, S&P500, FTSE, H-shares.
(I trade indexes as I can leverage up and manage it easier than a portfolio of shares and other instruments)
Regards,
Simon
Hi James, Shawn and the Team,
Firstly Thank you so much for all your insight and wonderful service Ace Team
My question is around your view on Banking Stocks My understanding is rate cuts could put financials under more pressure and banking stocks could struggle on rate cuts. Im reading different views on this for the short term of banking shares. Could you please give your sound and straight forward opinion. Once again Thank you I love reading your daily reports. Marg
Hi James and team,
Thank you for keeping us on the ground in this volatile time.
What are your views on APA please, given that UniSuper has just unloaded a huge block trade and I would appreciate insights into the reasons for the sale.
It seems the trend is against the stock as it has failed to bounce back when interest rate expectations are down and gets hit hard when rates trend back up.
Regards,
Adel
Hi James and Team
Market Matters love the stock but sold out of Goodman Group entirely on 1/8/24 for better opportunities in the immediate term. It reached a new high yesterday. What is your view now?
