Hi MM Team
I note your comments on the differing risk assessments of recession for equities vs bond credit spreads 33%v 9-12%. I am wonders how the %’s are calculated. I note that you have mentioned how the spreads are calculated from the risk free gov bond rate. Thanks for your words of wisdom and you continued excellent appraisals.

Thanks for your insightful commentary in these volatile times.
Are you able to please provide your current view on RRL, last comment was in 12/2024 when you liked the stock up to $2.50, today it has hit $3.50. Time for taking profits?
regards, David

Hi Market Matters
What’s your view on coal stocks after Macquarie cut their coal price forecasts and coal stocks were hit today.
Your Am report on 12/3/25 – “We ultimately see solid risk/reward in buying the stock today for tomorrow’s dividend and holding it for 45 days to accrue the franking credits.” MM is bullish YAL ~$6.25
I actually bought YAL the day before for the dividend yield.
Are you still bullish – if so in what time frame?
regards
Debbie

I’d like to get a better understanding of the Coal Futures Newc numbers in your morning reports. For example Tues 11 Mar the report shows $131.4 +$3.35 which compares to Monday 10 Mar $117.4 +$2.40.
Thus would you please explain the source of contract number & variation because it doesn’t appear to be day V previous day.
Thanks Glenn

first of all you guys should be proud of the product you are putting out.
Trying to get my head around what is happening in the USA for Australian listed stocks. Not after advise but thoughts.
KPG is buying into practices, and repatriating profits, is this a no no ie repatriating profits, even though you are doing business in USA. Life 360, duel listed, HQ in USA, is this good. SPZ, Australian listed, no business in Australia but expanding in the USA, do they pass muster. So just looking for USA facing stocks that may have legs.
Thanks Terry

I understand the strategy and how it fits with ‘2 steps fwd & 1 step back’ detail. We are still left with question when is A dip, THE Dip that we should be buying into. While there are no guarantees, What rules/guidelines do you apply to determine the probable bottom of the hockey stick?
Thanks Glenn

With the forthcoming demise of bank hybrid securities and your recent mention of Dominion I saw today an advertisement for Macquarie’s recently released ETF – Macquarie Global Yield Maximiser Active ETF – MQYM. I guess we are going to get more and more of these types of investments and whilst I have read the flyer, the PDS etc I am not that confident in the product. Welcome your thoughts and also going forward what might be the main attributes of alternatives to bank hybrids to look out for. Kind regards Geoff
