Archives: Questions And Answers

Hi James
What a turbulent Reporting period for the following stocks APA, SPK and AZJ.
All reporting difficult trading conditions
AZJ and SPK now look like Yield Traps and are trading at 10 year lows, whilst APA is facing somewhat different challenges. Considering the Recession in NZ, SPK may offer a Buy oportunity for this one time market darling, for the brave. All offer high dividends, but are they sustainable?
I would appreciate your views on each please.

Hello James and the team, I have been with MM for some years now and still it is my best source of relevant and plain speaking analysis of stocks and the markets.

Looking for your thoughts on Broadcom as an alternative to NVIDIA – also more diversified than NVIDIA with their enterprise solutions business.

Gentlemen, why do you think there’s such a huge gap between the values of gold miners and physical gold? Are the miners going to play catch-up or will they always trail? I own both PMGOLD (which has performed very well) and a number of gold miners/explorers like PDI, SBM, PRU, VAU etc, in part due to potential M&A. Where would you put (or keep) your money?

I like to answer that question on AAIG.  Share price was $0.19 cents June 30th 2024

Hello, Could the MM team please provide an updated view on C79, considering its most recent results? I recall it was in the emerging portfolio last year. I still hold this stock in my personal account and would appreciate insights on whether the latest results were strong enough to justify holding onto it, or if it might be better to sell and book a loss.
