Unfortunately, in the case of NRZ it appears a case of a picture telling a thousand tales – while the company hasn’t officially been de-listed it looks the likely outcome with the stock having not traded since March.
In terms of golds move if we see a correction by stocks, it’s very much a case of what the trigger is to cause the move:
- If stocks fall due to global/political uncertainty it could lead to another leg higher by precious metals.
- Conversely, if stocks fall as the path for interest rates gets increasingly hawkish (yields higher) gold is likely to fall.
