Given the large drop in profit for the first half of the year of 59%, much lower coal prices and high capital expenditures this year do you expect NHC to pay a Dividend in May/June. What is expected by the experts?
Hi Ed,
We do expect NHC to declare a dividend when they report on the 20th March (i.e. next week), noting they ruled off their 1H24 on 31st January. They paid a 30c dividend in October that included a 21cps ordinary dividend topped up with a 9cps special dividend. Our best estimate is NHC will pay in the vicinity of 15-20cps for the half, based on consensus EPS for FY24 of ~60cps.
