Hi Debbie,
We were fortunate enough to exit XRO at $193.50, which had an element of luck to it – we did not know they were going to make a large acquisition and raise capital. We like XRO and think the acquisition is a good one, just a high price paid and a lot of new shares being issued as a consequence which can provide overhang to a stock for a while – the same happened with Goodman (GMG). We are looking to re-enter into weakness but are in no hurry just yet, our ideal area to start accumulating is in the $165-170 area.
- If the share price is below $176, the SPP will be priced at a2.0% discount to the 5-day volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of Xero shares up to and including the SPP closing date, which is on the 21st July. If we still held, we would wait to near the closing date and calculate the likely price – we would participate if there was a discount on offer.
