Rare earths stocks ARU and LYC are hard to value but they’ve both reacted positively to the recent stimulus unleashed by Beijing and the PBOC. However as the word “tariffs” gets banded around with increasing regularity with regard to China, and Trump a strong possibility to win the US election, we wouldn’t be allocating too much hard-earned capital into the sector.
- Lynas (LYC) remains our preferred pick of ASX rare earth names with the $7.25-7.50 area our current buy zone.
