Question asked

Does MM still intend to offer an International Equities Portfolio?

Firstly, thank you James and team for your regular thoughtful and informative investing advice. I find it easy to understand and very helpful. I have two questions: Are MM still planning to set up the International Equities Portfolio as a fund that we can invest in? I hold RPL (Regal Partners) and have been disappointed with their underperformance. What is driving that and are you still bullish on them? Thank you, Ian

Answer

Hi Ian,

We certainly intend to launch the MM International Equities Portfolio on the Market Matters Invest platform, allowing subscribers to easily invest in it. At this stage, the min investment is likely to be $50k and the portfolio will land around 1% pa with no performance fee  i.e. we are going to make it a highly cost effective/competitive structure, and we have our fingers crossed it will be ready to launch in the coming months.

We have covered Regal Partners (RPL) in more detail in another question today. We still like it and believe this alternative asset manager can drive good flows, we are just more 50/50 from a valuation sense based on the FUM they have. Watch out for FUM flows next week.
