Hi Peter,
UBS undoubtedly will know of the takeover, but their valuation will be determined by IFM’s FY25 results this week. Also note they may have downgraded the stock to neutral, but they also upgraded their PT by 5.7%.
- Revenue came in at $146.5mn, up 4%, above expectations.
- Net profit of $16.7mn was up 23%.
- They are forecasting FY26 revenue of $152-159mn.
As you say TPG Capital Asia, acting through McQueen BidCo Pty Ltd. has bid for Infomedia. The transaction is structured under a scheme recommended by Infomedia’s board and awaits regulatory and shareholder approval.
- UBS valuation will not take into account the bid, also don’t forget how many takeover attempts have fallen over at various hurdles in recent years.
