The old Adelaide Brighton now called AdBri (ABC), an abbreviation that doesn’t work in my view has struggled in an environment you rightly point out should be favorable. A few things at play here, with supply chain costs in WA a major factor while they’ve also has some operational hiccups at their Birkenhead production plant. That means that while sales have been growing modestly, profit is likely to be lower in FY21 (they are December year end). 2022 is likely to be a better year however at MM, we prefer CSR, it’s cheaper with better earnings growth over the next few years than ABC.
