Guys, I've been trying to understand why Stanmore Resources share price has been steadily falling. Even with the results posted this week, which seems quite positve, the share price has fallen slightly. What am I missing here and what are your thoughts on Stanmore's future i.e. 12 - 18 months. Nothing specific to Stanmore (SMR), although the broader coal sector has been weak. We were surprised by the size of their dividend at their recent result (US8.4 cps v US6.5cps expected) and think that SMR has a suite of long-life assets, that will deliver solid cashflow on good margins and the outlook for steelmaking coal prices remains solid.
