Thoughts on AFG , DDR , PPS and RFG please

Hi I am taking a look at my worst 4 stocks besides BCB , I Feel there is life in AFG , DDR and they pay good dividends , I did not sell when you guys did with PPS and it has seemed to form a base , with RFG I have held for a long time and am down about 23 % and it looks like it will never pay a dividend again ? , Any way I am interested in your thoughts ?

Answer

Hi Glenn,

Australian Finance Group (AFG) $1.42 – the mortgage broker still looks “heavy” to us and although the yield is attractive we wouldn’t be surprised to see fresh multi-year lows.

Dicker Data (DDR) $9.42 – The hardware & software wholesaler has trended lower since 2021 and we wouldn’t be surprised to see it retest $8.

Praemium (PPS) 45c – we have written about PPS a few times over the last 12-months, the stock does appear to be “basing” above 40c, though flows are still a struggle we think and the platform space is only getting more competitive.

Retail Food Group (RFG) 6.45c – We think there will be better times ahead for RFG after a very tough few years. Too small for us, but an interesting, and timely stock given it’ was National Donut Day on Friday! (They own Donut King, Crust, Michels, Gloria Jeans, Brumby’s and others)
