The year is only one month old, and we’ve already seen major moves across financial markets with the craziness of the “Reddit Army” the most eye catching, we still believe there’s a lot more to come but its likely to be through more orthodox channels.
Overnight US stocks were strong with the Financials the standout sector, tech also played an excellent supporting role with Netflix (NFLX US) and Apple (AAPL US) catching my eye. The local market is pointing to an open up ~1% basically recovering yesterdays losses even with the resources likely to be in a lacklustre mood following a strong session by the $US.
MM remains bullish the ASX200 through 2021 albeit in a volatile manner
