The usually stoic Healthcare Sector has been a standout underperformer since June and with the exception of Cochlear (COH) it was a relatively dire August reporting season, unfortunately we feel the current negative sentiment is unlikely to dissipate in the short term.
- We believe its too early to move overweight the Healthcare Sector but it may be an option later in 2023.
MM is “watching” the Healthcare Sector at this stage of the cycle
