CKF owns KFC and Taco Bell franchises, which will compete with the freshly listed Guzma Y Gomez (GYG). Not only are we seeing increased competition in the space, but as we touched on, demand per capita may slip, although population growth is a positive tailwind. We discussed CKF in June, concluding we were neutral around $9. This stance hasn’t changed, and if anything we are on the bearish side of the ledger.
- We see no reason to buy CKF in today’s evolving market.
