BAP -0.50%: No surprises in today’s 1H24 result given it was pre-guided. Revenue up 2% YoY to $1.02bn driving net profit after tax (NPAT) of $54m, down 13% but in line with their $53-54m range. They’re undergoing a major transformation process, under new leadership, and while it’s been bumpy so far, the share price should react well to a greater level of stability at the top, and a clearly articulated and promoted strategy from the new CEO.
- We’re still backing BAP to improve from here.
