Gaming company ALL has already surged 63% in 2024, and we saw its quality corporate execution this week when it released its solid FY24 results. We particularly liked how ALL has decided to go back to its knitting by concentrating on finding opportunities in regulated gaming, in which it specialises after selling mobile gaming business Plarium Global for $US820 million, returning its focus to making money from poker machines and casino-style online games. Too many ASX companies have struggled after expanding in an almost haphazard fashion over recent years, often overseas, with disappointing results.
- We like ALL, but it’s hard to quantify an ideal entry with it trading on the rich side. Another $5 pullback, as we saw in August, would do the trick!
