Update on Dubber (DUB)

Dubber has released its annual report with several changes to both revenue recognition and one large, aged debtor within the accounts. 1) FY22 service revenues now at $25.3m reduced by ~-$10m on the previous amount they had said (via their quarterly). It looks like the Auditor had an issue with the  methodology being used and the timing of cash receipts. i.e. they make a sale, book the revenue, but cash comes in over time. It's the recognition of this revenue that has been queried for FY22, although prior year (FY21) remains unchanged

DUB -25.27%: the call recording and software company struggled today after a weaker 4th quarter. ARR grew $4m, to $59m but revenues for the quarter were just $10.3m and they burnt through $12.7m in cash in the period. Emerging Companies Portfolio

The portfolio was off -0.27% in the week against a weak market that fell -1.14%%. Cash remains at around 4% with no changes to the portfolio. Austal (ASB) was the star of the show adding ~30% following a good contract win while Praemium (PPS) +21% and Dubber (DUB) +18.7% bounced strongly. Tyro (TYR) -18.59% and Select Harvest (SHV) -10.44% were the biggest drags.

The portfolio was down -1.36% in the week, though outperforming the Small Ords which fell -2.5%. Cash remains at around 4% with no changes to the portfolio. PointsBet (PBH) bounced strongly, rallying 35% after Susquehanna took a large stake through a placement. EML payments (EML) was also up 13% on no news. Dubber (DUB) fell -15% on no news their either to be the weakest in the portfolio.

The portfolio was up +0.99% in the week with cash remaining around 9%. We were looking to spend 4% of that on Paladin (PDN) following their capital raise last week however shares have been well supported since and haven’t yet traded to our 73c limit. Emerging Companies Portfolio

The portfolio was up +2.28% in the week with cash falling to a little over 9% having recently added Pinnacle Investment Management Group (PNI) to the portfolio. Strandline (STA) continued to rally, adding another ~19% while EML Payments (EML) has found some form and rallied 10% in the week. Our weakest links were Audinate (AD8) which fell -5.92% & Dubber (DUB) which lost -5.56% &.  For context,  the Small Ords index added around 1.4%.
